Frequently asked questions
Cyprus or Northern Cyprus: what is the difference?
The Republic of Cyprus is a member of the European Union and awards European degrees. Northern Cyprus has a different system, and its international recognition needs to be checked: we check with you where the university is located.
How does the visa work?
Cyprus is in the EU but not in the Schengen area. The university usually submits a student entry permit application on your behalf; allow several weeks, and we prepare the file as soon as you are admitted.
What budget should I plan?
At private universities, tuition ranges from a few thousand to over €10,000 per year depending on the programme, and much more for medicine. Allow generally €700 to €1,000 per month for living costs, more in Limassol.
