Frequently asked questions
Can I study in English in Croatia?
Yes, but the choice is more limited than elsewhere: medicine, some master's programmes, and tourism and hospitality programmes at private institutions. Other bachelor's degrees are taught in Croatian; we check that year's offer with you before you apply.
How does admission to medicine work?
You apply directly to the faculties, with an application file, an English certificate, an entrance exam (biology, chemistry, physics) and/or an interview. We help you prepare the file and the exam.
What budget should I plan for living in Croatia?
Allow generally €600 to €900 per month, more in Zagreb and in tourist cities such as Split or Dubrovnik, especially in summer. Tuition varies by programme, with medicine in English the most expensive.
