Frequently asked questions
Is it hard to get into a university in Singapore?
Yes, admission is very selective: public universities assess your baccalaureate grades, English level (IELTS, TOEFL), sometimes the SAT, your activities and sometimes an interview. We help you prepare the tests and your application.
Is studying in Singapore expensive?
Tuition fees and the cost of living are high, with housing a major expense. Public universities offer tuition support in exchange for a commitment to work in Singapore for a few years after graduating; merit scholarships exist but are very competitive.
When should I apply?
The main intake is in August. Public universities usually open applications in the autumn and close them between winter and early spring: allow at least 6 months between starting your application and leaving.
