Frequently asked questions
Can I study in English in South Korea?
Yes, in several fields such as computer science, artificial intelligence, engineering and business, with IELTS or TOEFL. Other programmes are taught in Korean (TOPIK): we check the language of instruction of each programme before applying.
What does the GKS scholarship cover?
Usually tuition fees, a monthly allowance, the flight ticket, health insurance and a year of Korean language classes. It is highly selective and the number of places per country changes every year: we check the current call and prepare your study plan with you.
What budget should I plan for living in South Korea?
The cost of living is high in Seoul and more affordable elsewhere. Plan for housing, everyday expenses and any costs not covered by a scholarship or fee reduction.
