Frequently asked questions
Do I need to speak Turkish?
Not for English-taught programmes: a test (IELTS, TOEFL or the university's own test) is required, otherwise an English preparatory year is offered. Turkish-taught programmes require a certificate or a year of Turkish before the programme.
What scholarships are available?
Türkiye Bursları is a full government scholarship, but highly selective. Private universities also offer reductions of 25% to 100% based on grades, depending on the institution and programme.
Is the degree recognised in Tunisia?
Teaching quality and degree recognition vary depending on the institution and programme. For medicine, check the equivalence conditions before enrolling; we help you choose an institution that fits your plans.
